Key Responsibilities:
• Draft appellate briefs and present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts
• Provide guidance to trial counsel regarding preservation of appellate issues
• Analyze records and develop appeal strategies across various subject matters
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and manage complex motion practice
• Collaborate across firm offices to ensure consistency in appellate strategies
• Participate in leadership committees, DEI initiatives, and mentorship programs

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in appellate or general liability litigation
• Active California State Bar license in good standing
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Strong record of professional stability and references
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a docket of appellate matters
