Superintendent – DSA Projects

I’m working with a well-established large general contractor with over $250M in annual revenue to find a Superintendent with strong DSA School project experience. All projects are based in the Inland Empire (Riverside, Moreno Valley, and surrounding areas), so you can avoid the long LA and OC commutes.

Compensation : $140,000 to $180,000 base salary

Start Date : Ideally within 4–6 weeks

About the Role

This Superintendent will lead field operations on local K-12 and public works projects. The ideal candidate will have proven DSA project leadership experience and be highly skilled in scheduling — independent scheduling ability is a must for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for DSA-regulated construction projects
• Create, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules
• Ensure compliance with DSA protocols and reporting requirements
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and field personnel
• Maintain site safety, quality, and schedule performance
• Lead weekly site meetings, prepare look-ahead schedules, and resolve jobsite issues proactively

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Strong DSA/K-12 school or public works project experience
• Independent scheduling expertise
• Local to the Inland Empire or highly familiar with the area
• Strong leadership and communication skills
