Job Title: Director of Real Estate Development
Job Location: Providence, RI
Job Type: Permanent position
Compensation: $125,000-165,000 (based on experience)

What You’ll Do: Our client has a permanent Director of Real Estate Development key leadership position available. The candidate’s focus is on promoting the development and preservation of affordable housing. The candidate will manage the operating functions of the Development division, including oversight, resource management, and risk management, and develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to administer various housing programs.

Job Requirements:

• 10-15 years of broad-based management experience in real estate development, community development, or housing program administration
• Demonstrated knowledge of public/private financing, real estate investment analysis, and design/construction practices and procedures
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and extensive experience managing a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in soliciting, evaluating and structuring commercial real estate transactions
• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, real estate or related field
