- Responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures related to the various parts and equipment they are required to operate. Opers Must also load and unload parts inspect them using various precision measuring tools, decide whether to accept or reject parts, and effectively communicate any changes both verbally and in writing.Analyzed technical documents (e.g., blueprints, mechanical drawings) and operated multiple EDM machines to produce products that meet customer specifications.
* Performed tooling maintenance, including disassembling, cleaning, and rebuilding after production runs, and documented actions in control charts and ERP systems.
* Verified the accuracy of finished workpieces using precision measuring tools and applied knowledge of machine operations, including G and M codes.
* Trained and assisted other operators, sharing expertise and ensuring consistent performance across the team.
* Maintained safety standards, communicated across shifts, and updated job knowledge through ongoing education to support organizational goals.
