Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Potter/Assembler to perform staking, masking, and conformal coating application on electronic assemblies in a high-reliability environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, working with precision tools and processes to ensure product quality and compliance with documentation and engineering standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret BOMs, Work Instructions, Travelers, Blueprints, Routers, and Engineering Change Notices.
  • Strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic, attendance, and ethics compliance.
  • Basic computer skills for accessing documentation and recording time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IPC-A-610 Class III Certification
  • J-STD-001 Certification
  • Previous experience in high-reliability electronics manufacturing or aerospace/defense sectors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Apply conformal coating, potting compounds, and adhesives to electronic assemblies in accordance with documented work instructions and engineering specifications.
  • Perform masking and demasking tasks using various techniques and materials.
  • Execute modifications and repairs per engineering change orders and direction.
  • Utilize specialized tools including torque screwdrivers, dispensing equipment, and spray guns.
  • Inspect completed work for conformance to quality standards and document all actions taken accurately.
  • Follow detailed travelers and work sequences for each assembly.
  • Interface with quality control, manufacturing engineers, and customer representatives as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with ESD controls, safety procedures, and clean workspace standards.
  • Train or assist team members as required.
  • Record labor accurately using basic PC skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
