Responsibilities

• Grasp Arke’s technology, customer applications, internal processes and procedures, and standards of performance
• Lead several projects in a strong matrix environment executing Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
• Use project management methodology to drive progress
• Ensures everyone has mission clarity, envisions an end-to-end delivery plan, and strategically executes and delivers projects within constraints
• Lead projects to completion, with absolute attention to scope, quality, budget, schedule and risks
• Effectively identify and mitigate risks
• Developing and monitoring project plans, communication plans, risk management plans, and project artifacts from project initiation to post implementation/closure.
• Ensures project deliverables are complete on time, on budget, within scope, and in accordance with organization's standards
• Responsible daily for the development, execution, and maintenance of project plans and project communications, facilitating effective communications between all parties involved in the project, including meetings, correspondence/recaps, status reports and other project artifacts per organization's standards.
• Follow and enforce the established Arke project management processes
• Communicate with internal and external project stakeholders clearly and proactively
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure project tasks are completed per schedule
• Coach, support, motivate, inspire and hold accountable individual team members
• Identify improvements and introduce additional project management processes and controls
• Contribute to business development activities
• Other functions as required in the performance of Arke’s daily business requirements

Skills & Requirements

• This is a work-from-home/hybrid opportunity and an Atlanta-based position.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
• Extensive experience managing large, complex projects.
• Proven leadership in working with senior management to deliver successful programs.
• Strong presentation, escalation, and solution-providing skills for senior leadership.
• Five or more years’ experience in a Senior Project Manager role (ideally at a digital agency, creative agency or studio) required
• Skilled in managing resources within a matrixed environment.
• Proficient in change management, enterprise communication, and training.
• Technical background preferred
• Direct experience in managing the development of websites or full website redesigns in an agile environment required
• Experience in planning and managing strategy, design, production, and development of websites and other marketing materials for digital projects in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of software development methodologies including waterfall and agile
• Understanding of information architecture, user experience, and web design principles
• Understanding of digital process and digital deliverables (e.g., website, apps, e-mails)
• Knowledge of digital technologies, front-end development, SEO, localization, testing/optimization
• Understanding of business principles and operations
• Ability to operate at leadership level or work in the details as needed
• Experience in fostering cross-functional working relationships in medium to large organizations
• Skills in Microsoft Office tools and related project/program management applications to drive best practices
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, resources and vendors
• Experience using web-based content management tools
