Position Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems and equipment within the facility. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and minor construction tasks to maintain the facility’s infrastructure in optimal condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
This position is a central position for the Brayton Campus, maintenance team at NBCC. The Maintenance Tech must have strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work with a number of colleagues both internally (Programs Personnel & Enrollment and Development Departments and administration) as well as externally (State, County, and School District Employees).
