Job Description

About Us

Lucky Day is defining the future of skill-based gaming. Our games have experienced significant growth over the last year and we are expanding our team to continue propelling the rocket ship. This is a pivotal position with the ability to grow into a leadership role as the company expands. We are a lean team, and all employees have the opportunity to impact high level decision making. The ideal candidate will be competitive with an ownership mentality and a desire to help us define a category by further scaling our existing products and bringing our upcoming releases to market. This person will be a self-starter and driven to make an impact.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Live Ops Manager to lead the planning and execution of in-game events, offers, and content updates that drive player engagement and retention. You’ll be at the heart of our game operations, owning the calendar and collaborating with multiple teams to bring fresh, rewarding experiences to life.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage the live operations calendar: schedule and coordinate in-game events, promotions, and content updates
  • Monitor game performance and player behavior to optimize event design and cadence
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Game Design, Art, and Community teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment with business goals
  • Define and track KPIs related to player engagement, retention, monetization, and event performance
  • A/B test features, promotions, and content to continuously improve results
  • Identify opportunities for content reactivation, seasonal events, and monetization boosts

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in live ops, product management, or game production (ideally within mobile F2P games)
  • Proven ability to drive engagement and monetization through events and live content
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data tools (Excel, SQL, dashboards, etc.)
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail and timing
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • Bonus: Experience with CMS/event tools, game economy, or CRM/notifications

Why Join Us?

  • Own high-impact features that players interact with daily
  • Be part of a passionate, cross-functional team that values creativity and iteration
  • Work on games played by millions with frequent updates and evolving metas
  • Competitive compensation & benefits
