**Responsibilities** **Mercy Medical Group (MMG)** is seeking an OB/GYN Physician to join our multi-specialty group in Folsom, CA. **Highlights** + Very competitive sign-on bonus of up to 125k or 100k loan repayment/85k sign on + Join an established group of OB/GYN Physicians + Call 1:6 + Incoming physician would be based out of Mercy Hospital of Folsom + In house OB hospitalist program available for OB back up call + Hospital does approximately 600-700 births/year + Level I nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center + 50/50 mix of Obstetrics and Gynecology + Robotics available, though not required + Shareholder track, competitive compensation with bonus potential, desirable benefits + Option for additional income with hospitalist and back-up shifts at regional hospitals + Compensation Range: $350,000 - $355,000 / Year **Qualifications** + **A valid and unrestricted California medical license** + **Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)** + **Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program** **Patient Care:** + Diagnose and treat various medical conditions. + Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. + Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories. **Communication:** + Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. + Provide clear and concise medical information. + Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare. **Documentation:** + Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. + Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans. + Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations. **Diagnostic Procedures:** + Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging. + Perform procedures as needed + Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation. **Team Collaboration:** + Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. + Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers. **Quality Improvement:** + Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. + Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement. + Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety. **Compliance:** + Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice. + Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. + Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards. **Continuous Learning:** + Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices. + Participate in ongoing medical education and training. + Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. **Overview** **Mercy Medical Group (MMG)** is a dynamic, growing organization with a long-standing history of providing exceptional medical care in the Sacramento area.
