Job Title: Outside Customer Sales & Service Representative

Location: St. Louis, MO 63301

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven sales professional to join our team as an Outside Customer Sales & Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our products to a wide variety of clients including independent restaurants, institutions, hospitals, country clubs, casinos, hotels, caterers, schools, and other strategic accounts. You will also manage and support assigned customers to ensure high satisfaction and long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong sales acumen and the ability to generate new business through cold calling, relationship-building, and territory knowledge .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell company products and services to new and existing customers within the assigned territory
  • Develop new business by identifying leads, cold calling, and following up on referrals
  • Achieve consistent year-over-year sales growth while meeting gross margin targets
  • Maintain knowledge of all company products, services, and pricing structures
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve client issues promptly
  • Represent company values, culture, and offerings through various channels, including social media
  • Monitor and follow through on all customer requests and inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of sales activities and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and fulfill service expectations

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and/or marketing
  • Demonstrated cold calling ability and comfort initiating contact with prospects
  • Familiarity with company products and pricing (training provided)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with social media platforms for business engagement
  • Knowledge of the St. Louis metropolitan area and service territory
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance , and reliable transportation
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and professional demeanor
  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Willingness to source or acquire retail products to fulfill client needs
  • Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent in achieving objectives
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and collaborative spirit
