Job Details: 

• Physician Assistant Opportunity in Washington State - located near Vancouver
• Need: Physician Assistant to work in an Internal Medicine practice 
• 10% of patients are on Pain medications - need someone comfortable dealing with pain medicine patients
• 4-day work week
• $110,000 to $130,000 first year - negotiable
• 2 to 3 patients per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic illnesses in adult patients.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Develop and implement patient care plans, adjusting as needed.
• Perform routine procedures (e.g., EKGs, wound care, joint injections, etc.) depending on scope and training.
• Provide patient education on preventive care, medications, and chronic disease management.
• Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team, including referrals to specialists.
• Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physician Assistant license in Washington (or Nurse Practitioner)
• Graduation from an accredited PA program.
• Certification by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
