Job Description

Our client is building a design team that is the brain behind what goes into the complex and intricate systems on their large-scale projects. As the plumbing designer, you’ll work on plumbing flow calculations, equipment selections, and piping layouts to coordinate and design seamlessly along our mechanical and electrical scopes.

Position Responsibilities

• Able to modify documents per Project Manager/Estimator and Fab shop markups
• Ability to export to DWG and other formats for collaboration
• Sketches or models rough layout and computes angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, clearances, tolerances, leverages, and locations of holes
• Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings
• Follow Revit standards and procedures
• Participate in Revit/Fabrication/coordination meetings
• Assist during project setup
• Create Spool drawings and coordination documents
• Lean Construction or Manufacturing understanding
• Experience in Construction industry

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• 3+years design and coordination experience
• Revit/Navisworks Manage (knowledge of work-sharing, coordination, and modeling)
• AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and Fabrication CADMEP, Trimble VDC Pro+
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Document Management Tools - Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, ACC
• Filed experience preferred
• Knowledge of fabrication methods and processes preferred
