Project Executive – Hyper-Scale Data Center Construction

Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: $190-225k basic + attractive benefits + per diem

Hamilton Mayer is exclusively partnering with a leading general contractor specializing in complex construction projects in the US. We’re assisting them as they look to build out their team specialized in complex mission-critical projects. Our directive involves finding highly motivated and experienced individuals with the right level of experience, but culturally would be a good fit for the team too.

As we search for a tenacious Project Executive to join an incredible team in Atlanta, GA, we are also wanting to speak with individuals for a General Superintendent and Senior Project Manager opening with similar experience.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in delivering successful hyper-scale data center projects, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of hyper-scale data center construction projects, from pre-construction planning to final delivery.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Manage project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and challenges.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field but not essential.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in hyper-scale data center construction.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects valued between $200 million and $1 billion.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Deep understanding of data center design and construction standards, including MEP systems.
  • Experience with prefabrication and modular construction techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
