Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead and implement the Quality Control program for a dedicated federal construction project , with the potential to grow into a corporate-level role supporting quality efforts across all projects for Infinite Energy, Defender Contracting & Construction, and Matai Services . This position offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate leadership, establish best practices, and scale quality oversight enterprise wide. 

The QC Manager will be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance and control on the assigned project—ensuring full compliance with applicable standards, contract requirements, and client expectations—with a clear pathway to expanding influence across future projects nationwide. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Serve as the designated Quality Control Manager on federal and commercial construction projects. 
  • Develop and implement project-specific QC Plans in accordance with USACE, NAVFAC, and/or FAA standards where applicable. 
  • Proactive identification of deficiencies and propose corrective measures consistent with the contract documents. 
  • Conduct Three-Phase Quality Control meetings and inspections. 
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and government representatives to ensure timely resolution of deficiencies. 
  • Maintain accurate and organized quality control documentation including daily reports, inspection logs, submittals, and testing results. 
  • Ensure that all materials and workmanship are in full compliance with contract documents and applicable codes. 
  • Ensure compliance with building and local codes. 
  • Provide training and mentoring to site personnel on quality standards and procedures. 
  • Support safety, commissioning, and closeout activities as required. 
  • Ability to successfully adapt to variable personalities and clients 

 

Qualifications  

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction quality control, preferably on federal, military, or civil infrastructure projects. 
  • Experience with USACE/NAVFAC preferred. 
  • CQM-C certification (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) required or must be obtained within 30 da ys of hire. 
  • Familiar and experienced with RMS/QCS
  • Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, submittals, and testing procedures. 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. 
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management platforms is a plus. 
  • Familiar and experienced with Microsoft Office Programs and electronic file structures
