Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Coordinator to support our sales team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth sales operations through order management, logistics coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced CPG environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Management: Process sales orders, manage order status, and issue order confirmations across retail, e-commerce, and distributor channels.
  • Inventory Coordination: Monitor inventory levels, collaborate with merchandising, and assist in demand planning and forecasting.
  • Shipping & Logistics: Book and route shipments, coordinate with warehouses and carriers, track deliveries, and ensure compliance with retailer routing guides.
  • Retail & Channel Support: Support execution of trade promotions and seasonal programs; ensure timely delivery and accuracy of promotional orders.
  • Data & Reporting: Generate reports and analyze sales and POS data to support wholesale growth and provide actionable insights.
  • Cross-functional Communication: Liaise with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance), external vendors, and customer accounts.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve order, inventory, and shipping issues.
  • System Maintenance: Ensure accurate data entry and upkeep of ERP and order management systems.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in wholesale, customer service, or sales operations, preferably in a CPG environment.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or Dynamics Business Central
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and insights using POS or syndicated data
  • Familiarity with wholesale order management and/or EDI systems is a plus.
