Position : Business Architect for Data (AWS)

Location : Marysville, OH (HYBRID)

Summary :

• The Business Architect for Data will work closely with business stakeholders to create and manage data products, mainly involving Amazon Web Services (AWS), that drive business value
• This role will need a strong background in data architecture, business analysis, data product management, and a deep understanding of how data can be leveraged to meet business objectives
• The Business Architect for Data must have familiarity with AWS
• Experience in Manufacturing or Automotive industries is a plus
• This position is Onsite in Marysville, OH with at least One Remote Workday

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data needs and opportunities for data products
• Lead the analysis of source systems, performing thorough data profiling and data quality analysis
• Design suitable data models and semantic layers for data warehouses and analytical reporting
• Define and document the source-to-target mappings for data integration
• Collaborate with Data Platform Services team on the design and strategy for reference data services
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify how data is related to business, application, and infrastructure architecture
• Support the identification of key elements necessary to understand the health and performance of data architecture
• Ensure that division data architecture solutions align with broader enterprise data strategy
• Lead efforts to develop and maintain architectural assets for the business domains
• Closely collaborate with enterprise architecture to advocate the sharing knowledge across the organization

Key Accountabilities :

• Business Collaboration : Build and maintain relationships with key business leaders who oversee business critical systems
• IT Collaboration : Work closely with Enterprise DPS team to solution data products that are needed by the business
• New Technology : Monitor and research both emerging and established IT trends and technologies

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in data architecture, business analysis, and data product management
• Must have familiarity with AWS
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to support multiple and complex projects simultaneously
• Experience with data modelling standards, tools, and best practices
• Knowledge of cloud computing, big data technologies, and data integration techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in Manufacturing or Automotive industries is a plus

Other Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of product and manufacturing development lifecycles
• Expertise in developing a strategic plan for data
• Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools and data visualization
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for data governance and data quality
• Certification in data architecture or related fields (e.g., TOGAF, CDMP)
