Job Description

The Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be responsible for answering incoming telephone calls and will provide administrative office support with a variety of related tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer incoming calls; direct all calls to the appropriate individual(s). Take messages as needed and ensure delivery of such messages, as well as provide callers with requested company information
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate individual(s)
  • Assist other departments with reporting and research
  • Check emails re: answering service, etc.
  • Check mail and receive packages
  • Schedule/reserve conference rooms for office meetings
  • Keep sign-in sheets up to date
  • Assist with kitchen maintenance, Stock coffee bars, supplies.
  • Assist in maintenance and ordering of office supplies
  • Send work orders out for office repairs
  • Assist with drills and training

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Professional telephone skills; excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to interact with all levels of company personnel, utilizing strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of relevant experience and/or training
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Front Desk Receptionist with Administrative skills
