Summary

We seek a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our San Diego, CA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial mechanical HVAC systems, a stable work history, and the necessary certifications. This role requires a dedicated professional to handle various HVAC equipment types and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on various commercial HVAC systems, including package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs and solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service requests.

Requirements

  • Candidates must reside in the San Diego area or be willing to relocate.
  • Demonstrated consistent employment in the HVAC industry.
  • Must possess an EPA Universal Certification.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Extensive experience with large tonnage applied HVAC equipment such as package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Capable of lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and handling various physical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional certifications or training in HVAC systems and technologies.
  • Experience with specific brands and models of HVAC equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
