Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager

Exciting opportunity for a Sr Project Manager to serve on large scale, well funded enterprise data projects. You will support many waterfall and agile projects. The focus for this PM is to manage data integration projects!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage scope, requirements, timeline, cost, quality, human resources, communications and integration
• Facilitate efficient communication across all levels of a project to ensure consistency in reaching the project's goal, and to help in the recognition of any potential opportunities, risks or complications.
• Overseeing the development of security systems for the protection of facilities, personnel, data and assets
• Working in an 85/15 percent capacity of Scrum Master to Project Manager
• Identify and manage risks / issues and development of mitigation plans
• Lead meetings for status reporting, scheduling, requirements, resource assignments and deliverables
• Maintain document control and track project activities and team communications
• Prepare project reports and dashboards as required by the management team
• Ensure project repository is built and maintained
• Develop and review project status with project team and create weekly reports
• Manage outsourced teams (off-site) including vendor engagements
• Develop and publish communications to project teams, management and project stakeholders
• Provide guidance on process and deliverables to the project team
• Lead project teams in strategic meetings and follow up with meeting notes

This is a 6 month contract opportunity with high possibility of extension every 6 months. This position is hybrid. You will be required to be in office 3 days a week. REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 8+ years Project Management experience
• Scrum Master experience
• Strong experience working on data integration projects
• Agile/Scrum experience (kanban/scrum highly prefered)
• Certifications (CSM, PMP, etc.)
• Experience supporting agile and waterfall projects
• Experience creating Jira boards
• Experience engaging with 3rd party vendors
• Experience writing requirement documentations - You will be required to write project documentation and be able to speak to the requirements with the business.
• No job hoppers (most contracts should be a year plus)
• Excellent communication skills and very consultative

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• TIBCO experience
• Previous experience working in a Research and/or Data Science dept would be a plus but not required.
• Experience with tools & techniques such as Openplan or Jira
• SAFe Agile experience
